Process
I started this project by deciding on the album I was going to redesign and I decided to go with an album that I had been listening to called Fables. I listened to the album again without doing anything else and just took in the music. I found the song “Murder” inspired my album cover as its about loving someone who is an awful person and being stuck in that type of relationship. I took the emotions from that song and mixed it with heavy metal imagery to create my album cover. The poster is a continuation of the album with the skull being clamped down on to the point of being much more broken and, instead of exploding, it’s just dripping.
