I spent a while considering what direction I wanted to go and then when I was chatting with my friend, I noticed his shirt was for a heavy metal band and that sparked the concept of what would a heavy metal style of beer bottle look like. I began researching and realized that some heavy metal bands base their merchandise off of creatures from myths and urban legends. As I began to work on the project I sketched out different creatures from myths and settled on a pen and ink style with very little use of colour. The labels were weirdly enough based on an upside down
caution sign. When it came to the ad I came up with the idea of creatures being inside the bottles and trying to break out and ran with it.
