For this project I began by looking into the diner that I chose and I realized that it has a 70s feel to the interior and exterior of the diner. I looked into things that symbolized the 70s and I found all sorts of old bottle caps. I then began working on logo concepts and it didn’t take me long to realize that the sun when simplified looks like a bottle cap, so I took that idea and played with it until I found my logo. When I got tasked with creating the food truck design I thought back to my research and decided to style
it around a 70s drive in theatre and I built off of that initial concept to create my final food truck design.
